Patrick R. Grzanka is an Honors Faculty Fellow at Barrett, the Honors College and affiliate faculty of the Center for Biology & Society at Arizona State University. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and his interdisciplinary scholarship has appeared in such journals as Symbolic Interaction, Journal of Counseling Psychology, and American Journal of Bioethics: Neuroscience.

About the Author
Patrick R. Grzanka is an interdisciplinary social scientist and an emerging leader in the field of intersectionality. His research explores the psychosocial dimensions of intersecting inequalities, such as race, gender, and sexuality, with a focus on emotions and mental health. His publications have appeared in journals such as Symbolic Interaction, Journal of Counseling Psychology, American Journal of Bioethics: Neuroscience, and Sexualities, and his research has been supported by funding from the National Science Foundation. He is an assistant professor of psychology at the The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
